The Lyra Block Print Cushion
Complete with:
A square cushion, hand-block printed in a beautifully understated palette. The background is a soft blue grey, printed over with warm golds, creams and gentle browns
This celebrates pattern without being overbearing. It's one of our founder Jenny's favourites. The print is made by hand, the block pressed across a cotton-linen cloth so the pattern carries the soft give and tiny irregularities that only block printing leaves behind. The print runs across both sides, the same hand-blocked cloth front and back, so it looks considered whichever way it falls.
The Lyra cushion is easy to place. The muted tones sit happily against neutrals, blues, greys and browns and because the pattern is so soft it layers beautifully with stripes, checks and other patterns rather than fighting them. A quiet anchor in a considered, collected room.
This is for the cover only. The insert is sold separately.

FAQS
What is the Lyra Cushion made from?
It's a square cushion in a 50% cotton, 50% linen blend, hand-block printed in a muted blue-grey with warm golds, creams and browns.
What is hand-block printing?
Hand blocking a traditional method where the pattern is carved into a wooden block and pressed onto the cloth by hand, one repeat at a time. It gives a soft, slightly irregular print, small variations that mark each piece as made by hand rather than machine.
What does the Lyra Cushion pair well with?
The muted palette works beautifully with neutrals, blues, greys and browns and the soft pattern layers happily with stripes, checks and other prints. It's an easy cushion to build a collected, layered look around.
Is it cover-only or does it include a cushion pad?
This is for the cover only. You can buy the insert from the link above. We always recommend using natural fillings in your inserts and sizing up by 5cm for extra squish.
