Terms and Conditions

These are the terms and conditions under which Jennifer Mortimer Limited trading as The Old and New Company (“we” or “us”) supplies homeware products and furniture. Wherever you have bought from us, online, by phone or at one of our stalls, these terms and conditions will apply.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully and check our shipping costs before placing your order with us and please note that by placing an order you agree to our terms and conditions.

Ordering

Once an order has been placed with The Old And New Company, you will receive an email receipt to acknowledge The Old And New Company has received your order and payment.

Description of Goods

We try our best to make sure the descriptions and images of all items are as accurate as possible, providing you with as much information, history and details as possible and to the best of our knowledge. Please note that all antique, vintage and handmade items will have some age-related wear and may vary in size, texture or shape as this is simply part of their wonderful character.

We offer antique, vintage and handmade items with unique character and do not sell these items in “perfect” condition, there will be, in most cases, marks and scratches, which add to the their unique story. All products may be subject to small variations in colour and sizes from the images on the website.

When placing an order, please be sure to read the item description carefully to make sure that the product(s) will fit through the delivery route of your desired location and is to your expectation. If you require further information on an item, please do not hesitate to contact us with your questions.

Returns

Please always check your items on receipt, unfortunately we are not able to accept any item back where the damage has occurred in transit and is not reported at the time of the delivery.

Any item you've ordered from The Old and New Company is eligible for returns as long as you raise a return request within 14 days of receiving your item. Then you just need to send the item back to us within another 14 days from raising your return.

The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging as delivered to you.
