Very large antique chopping board with fantastic signs of use. The darker patina is where dough would have been rolled on the wood, creating a darker colour over time.
There is an honest repair with a metal braces at each end to reinforce the wood and structure of the board.
For use today, this wooden board would be ideal for the centre of the table at parties for big spreads of cheese and antipasto.
